This award is designed to prepare learners for meaningful progression into both employment and education by building strong, vocationally relevant knowledge, skills and competencies. It supports learners in exploring eBusiness as a pathway to employment; while developing the analytical, bookkeeping and communication abilities needed in modern workplaces.

Career Opportunities

On completion of this programme learners will be equipped to effectively carry out a range of office functions within any business organisation.

Progression

Following on from this course there is direct progression onto the Advanced Administration (QQI Level 6) course in Tubbercurry Campus. This course prepares you to work in a supervisory role in a variety of business settings. There is also the option of further education or training in such areas as digital marketing, web authoring, social media for business, accountancy, and business studies.
Graduates may gain entry to Third Level Institutes and Colleges through the QQI Higher Education Links Scheme

Participants on this course can apply to complete their work experience abroad.

Duration

This is a full-time one-year course and runs from September to May.
