This one year full-time course (Mon - Wed inclusive) provides students with the necessary skills for direct entry into a wide range of employment including Banking, Insurance, Commercial, and Service industries, HSE, Public Service and Local Government. Students must have completed a linked QQI Level 5 course. Students will have the opportunity to advance to management and administrative positions within these organisations.
Help students develop the essential skills and techniques which form the basis for a career in industry, commerce or the public service. The course comprises both theoretical and practical modules, and students will gain an understanding of Business Management.

Career opportunities in the following areas become accessible through the progression routes from this course to third-level colleges. Requirements for progression may change or new progression paths become available. Modules may also need to change to facilitate learner needs.
