Makeup Artistry – 5M5265 

This course is designed for students who wish to pursue a career in the Make Up industry. The course covers both practical and theoretical knowledge needed in the industry today. Students will learn about the skin and the how to look after our skin. The course will also cover special effects, ageing and character make up for the Film, TV and Theatre. You will also learn the necessary skills to provide make up for the Fashion and media industry. The student will also learn about history and period make up and will learn to hair knot beards and how to maintain wigs on film sets.

  • Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied, or equivalent.

There are no fees to study this course, however, students will have to purchase some additional items when undertaking this course such as;

Duration

This is a full-time one year course and runs from September to May.
