This Nutrition, Health and Food Science course is aimed at students who want to develop their knowledge of food science and nutrition. The applied nature of this programme will focus on the relationship between food and health and the study of food from a scientific point of view. This course can provide successful students with the knowledge and the entry requirements necessary to access some science based programmes at Third level. The course also aims to provide students with the skills necessary to gain employment in the food industry.
